Been writing songs all week for my upcoming concert of 22 may.
I work with Finale to make some beautiful leadsheet music for my bandmembers. Eventually they'll learn it by heart, but its useful to have my songs written down on paper.
Been listening to Ben Folds which I very much like and also The Feeling make some quality songs. Very clear songs, I hope I might write some of those these days.
I let me inspire by everything that surrounds me and what happens within me. A lot of my ideas come from the beautiful things I see on the Net, but also what I call the Return of Love and Attention. People have isolated themselves, living their lives on the net, making their music for instance behind their PC and do it all themselves...their is een process going on now, that people acctually want to be in real contact as if they lost how it felt to be close to another person. Identity 2.0 is how I see it. Who are you on the Net and who are you in real life?
People really enjoy being with eachother, because there is still a lot of who you are that can't be projected on a computerscreen. Ok, there is webcam technology, but that also a narrowing picture of the Real You. The Real You, that might be the title of my new song of today.

Sometimes I think about the thoughts that I produce

But when I think what I thought until this day
I smile and I start thinking: “EveryThinK is just OK!”

When I think about the thoughts that I might have
Then I think about the thoughts I think instead
And when I think about rethinking something old
I smile and I start thinking about the things that I’ve been told

Sometimes I think about the things I should have done
And then I think about thinking what will come
But when I think about the man that I’ve become
I smile and I start thinking: “what will possibly go wrong?”

Hello. I have been blogging all day.
Suddenly I was curious, and looked in Google for 'Twitter' + 'Musicians'.
(Because that seems to me to be a great idea, what are you doing right now, musician?)

One of the hits was this website, which is I believe is the next step forward for record comanies.

I believe blogging is vey powerful.

I believe musicians have to tell their story. The story of their lives, what they are doing and who they are.

I am blogging for 6 months now and I am a believer. With blogging I met a lot of people, online as well as
off line.

I perform a lot in the Amsterdam Area and I have a full agenda with concerts coming. My music brought me in Kenia, South Africa, Curacao and America.

I believe in my qualities as a performer, singer and pianoplayer. Because I have someting of value to share. My life.
