Writing songs

Been writing songs all week for my upcoming concert of 22 may.
I work with Finale to make some beautiful leadsheet music for my bandmembers. Eventually they'll learn it by heart, but its useful to have my songs written down on paper.
Been listening to Ben Folds which I very much like and also The Feeling make some quality songs. Very clear songs, I hope I might write some of those these days.
I let me inspire by everything that surrounds me and what happens within me. A lot of my ideas come from the beautiful things I see on the Net, but also what I call the Return of Love and Attention. People have isolated themselves, living their lives on the net, making their music for instance behind their PC and do it all themselves...their is een process going on now, that people acctually want to be in real contact as if they lost how it felt to be close to another person. Identity 2.0 is how I see it. Who are you on the Net and who are you in real life?
People really enjoy being with eachother, because there is still a lot of who you are that can't be projected on a computerscreen. Ok, there is webcam technology, but that also a narrowing picture of the Real You. The Real You, that might be the title of my new song of today.
